This year Book Expo America (BEA), America’s foremost showcase for the global publishing industry, was held in Chicago, Illinois at the McCormick Center.
Annual attendance at BEA exceeds 17,000 people from 50 states and over 60 countries, including publishers, distributors, booksellers, digital service/solution providers, book bloggers, librarians, media & press, literary agents, licensing & rights agents, and more.
"The show, the biggest publishing industry event in North America, will set the tone for what the public can expect from the publishing industry in 2016 and beyond and introduce Chicago to its first ever BookCon."

Summit University Press was represented by the Director, who arrived the day before the fair officially opened to participate in the International Digital Publishing Forum, an annual two-day event that explores trends, innovations and challenges in the digital publishing space.
"The premier digital conference in the industry that focuses on all the key issues we face in advancing publishing in an increasingly digital world."
This year’s keynote address was by Sir Tim Berners-Lee who is recognized as creating the world wide web in 1989. The International Digital Publishing Forum was educational and enlightening in many regards, giving rise to new ideas for 2017 and beyond.
BEA 2016 was a successful event for Summit University Press, establishing new business connections and renewing existing relationships with ideas and innovative projects for the future.
